Purchased from a junkyard, this vehicle has been a form of therapy and a source of constant reflection on the historical significance of the design and construction of a vital military tool.
As a war baby of two World War II vetrans; Dad a photographer in the U.S.A.A.F. - 90thth Bomb Group (Jolly Rogers) 400th Squadron and mom a U.S.Navy - YN1 attached to Bureau of Yards and Docks.(Seabees), I reflect back to an era where individuals like them, from all walks of life, gave their all so that we might continue to live the "American Dream."
